Water cooled split air conditioner
At Broughton EAP, we can come to your assistance if you’re interested in investing in water cooled split air conditioning units. The MCWS250 is a water cooled split unit that offers highly efficient and reliable portable air conditioning. The unit uses water to remove heat rather than air, which means it provides a welcome alternative to the condenser found in traditional air con systems, which can result in a derating effect. Delivering 7.3kW of chilled air, the unit can be placed up to 35M from the outdoor section. The MCWS500 is based around a similar water system to the MCWS250 and offers 14.6kW of cooling. The product is designed with events and data centres in mind.
Decades of experience
At Broughton EAP, we have been in the air conditioning business for many years and work relentlessly to provide the pioneering solutions that our customers require. We introduced the world’s first 10kW 13A air conditioner and were one of the first companies to pioneer high-efficiency EC fans. We have been designing, developing and manufacturing portable heating, cooling, drying and ventilation solutions for over three decades and have supplied dehumidifiers and portable cooling equipment since the 1970s.
We have worked on solutions for organisations such as the Ministry of Defence, supplying environmental control units for use in Iraq and Afghanistan. We continue to thrive in the face of tough competition from overseas and are able to offer affordable solutions with world-class customer service that stand the test of time.
Flexible and reliable
There is a growing demand for portable split water cooled air conditioners, which don’t have the same issues with finding somewhere to exhaust the hot air as traditional ‘monobloc’ air conditioners. They are also much more efficient as there is no derating effect from a condensor. Portable water cooled split air conditioners are known for their consistency, flexibility, reliability and efficiency. Water has highly efficient and dependable heat transfer properties, with low running costs offsetting the fees associated with purchase and maintenance.
Why would someone invest in air conditioning?
There are many benefits attached to investing in quality air conditioning. Air conditioning systems can keep us cool during the warmer months of the year and prevent illnesses and loss of work days through illness, whilst boosting the quality of air, removing mould and pollutants. They can be particularly helpful for those that suffer from asthma and allergies as long as the systems are maintained well and filters are changed on a regular basis. What’s more is that quality air con systems can help you win the battle against insects whilst keeping us comfortable and productive. Warm air can also raise stress levels, heightening blood pressure and heart rates, which means it’s no wonder so many businesses and domestic customers are investing in them. The reduced heart rates and blood pressure delivered by air con systems can also help us sleep better. Air con systems also protect furniture from humidity and stop electronic devices overheating.
