How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by our customers or employees for one of the following reasons:

  • To enable us to fulfil our contractual obligations 
  • Because you have asked us to do something before entering into a contract with us
  • With your consent, to inform you about new products, services or current special offers 
  • In order for us to effectively manage our employees at Broughton EAP Ltd

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

Your information is securely stored. 

We retain customer, supplier and employee data for no longer than is necessary. However, it may be required to retain data for suppliers or customers in order to facilitate longer-term continuity and working relationships with our partners. We may also need to fulfil our legal obligations to retain data for a longer period, for example accounting data must be retained for a minimum of 6 years, after which time it will be destroyed. Any contact details used for the purpose of marketing will be kept until you notify us that you no longer wish to receive this information.

With regards to payment card data, we are PCI DSS compliant.
